Construction by Camco, Inc., a leading heavy/highway contractor in the chicago land area, has an immediate full-time opening for a Construction Estimator/Engineer at our Joliet, Illinois office. Requirements include five years of estimating experience related to asphalt paving, concrete paving, earthwork and underground utilities. A degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering & Management, and proficiency in the use of computers is preferred but not required. The position entails providing and coordinating project estimates, interpreting plans and specifications on large, complex work and contracts, and performing customer service activities. The successful candidate will be a self-starter and results-oriented with excellent communication skills. Must have the capability of thriving in a fast-paced/high-pressure environment.
