Scope of Services: The project will add a water treatment plant and raw water transmission main that will treat a raw water supply from Well No. 4 to remove iron & radium 226/228. Construction of a 1000 gpm water treatment plant consisting of 2750 square foot pre-cast concrete panel building housing hydrous manganese oxide chemical injection, a 10,000 gallon contact tank, a pressurized iron filter system, provisions for future ion exchange softening, and chlorine injection. Also included is the construction of a filter backwash waste holding tank, site piping, a bituminous and concrete driveway, and other related appurtenances. All included is the upgrade of piping & equipment at Well No. 4.
